Soccer matches tomorrow prediction for Serbia – Ukraine

Serbia welcomes Ukraine at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in a game from Group B of the European qualifiers. That’s our soccer matches tomorrow prediction for this clash.

For Ukraine this game is with no meaning, because Andriy Shevchenko’s team already won the first place in the group. The Ukrainians are already untouchable at the top, being 5 points ahead of the second Portugal, just one round before the end. Their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign so far was almost flawless – six wins and one draw from seven matches played. That’s really good. It turns out that Andriy Shevchenko was not just a great player, but he’s a capable manager as well.

During the week Ukraine didn’t have a game, so they will be more fresh than their opponents on Sunday.

Serbia are third in this group with 13 points, but just one point behind the second Portugal and with theoretical chances to beat Selecao for the second place. In the same day Portugal plays against Luxembourg and the Serbians can overtake them in certain circumstances.

Right now Serbia are enjoying a run of three consecutive wins in the group. On Thursday they hosted Luxembourg in Belgrade and it wasn’t easy, but they celebrated a 3-2 win. Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a brace, while Nemanja Radonjic also added one for the win.

Serbia’s manager Ljubia Tumbakovic would be worried that his players conceded two goals on home soil against Luxembourg. Ukraine are a much stronger team, so they must improve their game in defense in the next game.

In our soccer matches tomorrow we believe that Serbia and Ukraine will offer us a great game, despite of the fact that the visitors have nothing to play for anymore, except for their own prestigie. Ukraine will want to end their campaign unbeaten, but Serbia must win in order to keep their hopes of finishing second alive.
